i need help..... i recently stripped my f22a1 block bear and cleaned every thing up but before i rebuild it i want to clean out the water passages i tried pressure washing it but scale still remains.... id like to be able to clean it without having a machine shop remove my sleeves any help would be great.....

 

you can use CLR

get it from your home supply and or grocery store. Its clearner to remove the water deposits

 

nvm on this topic i figured out a great solution to this prob.....for those of you in the same situation, take a .22 rifle cleaning kit for the tight spaces between the sleeves and for the angled areas i found a 12 gauge kit works great but be careful not to scratch the cylinder head mating surface or accidentaly scrath the cylinder bore...............

 

hmm CLR didnt think of that... do you think that it would work better than the gun cleaning kit or would it be best to use both thx for the info......

 

take a clr in cup and use a stee brush like you use to clean through holes and stuff.
