limited slip differecial. it basiclly helps you from your cars tires from slipping by taking the torque from the slipping wheels and transfering it to the other.

 

doh! i know wat limited slip was....hahah i just never seen it put into "LSD" for short... ok thanx for clarifying that

ok, i kno what lsd does and all, but does anyone know how it connects to the tranny? like where is it placed, how is it connected

 

It replaces the stock differential. The axles plug into it.

Sorry if that sounded kinda ty. Thats not how i meant it. But the absolute best way to learn about hondas and their various parts is to study the shop manuals in detail. Before any modification project I spend weeks going over every aspect of the system i am going to work on untill i can picture it completely in my mind.

I swapped my diferential for a Quaife LSD and did all the work myself. It's not hard, just do the homework.
