Default water temp sensor light still on.

still throwing cel #6..put a new single wire sensor in and and the 2 wire sensor both under the distrubtor i replaced and still throwing the code disconnecter the battery and still throwing the code

gotta ask .. did you check coolant level ?

yes it has coolant. but didnt think that would be a issue anyway

well if the sensor is known to be in good working order then you need to check the wiring, there may be a broken wire making the ecu think the sensor is not connected.

check for continuity with the ecu with an ohm meter
