Default water pump replacement

ok so I'm thinking of replacing my water pump, but I dont wanna tear it out until I find some documentation showing how to set my motor to TDC or whatever it is, but does anyone have the DIY link for doing that pump AND then redoing the timing?

if youre just replacing your water pump and not the t belt get a white visible marker and dab a belt tooth and two cog teeth on each side of the belt dab and mark your crank pulley the same way along with the t belt then remove the t belt and pump...
i'd draw up a picture but maybe someone can explain it easier...

there is a mark on the crank shaft where the crank pulley that lines up with the mark on the block . there is also marks on the cam gears, line them up before you take off the belt. don't spin the crank or cams while you have the belt off. line the marks back up before you put the new belt on. Yeah I said new belt, you should go ahead and replace it while you have it apart.
