Default Water Injection on NA H22

Ok this might sound daft & whatever but I tried searching & found nothing...

Here's my situation, I stay 6000ft above sea-level, the density of the air robs NA
engines of approximately 18% of power & torque!

That sucks big time!!!

So now, I was wondering, wouldn't fitting a Water Injection System running
50% Water & 50% Methanol compensate for the altitude losses???

Please advise...

Is this a dumb question or doesn't anyone know?

I'm actually trying to run the same setup to get better gas mileage:

H2o/alky alone won't do a whole lot. You will need to tune for proper a/f ratios and step-in some ignition.

This is true. There's also a link somewhere for an IC that lowers H02S threshold. I'll post when I can find it.
