Default Water in EGR port

Removed my EGR valve today after I drove around to warm up the car and I found droplets of water in the EGR port from the head on the intake manifold. Is this normal?

It's not unusual. Are you having an EGR problem?

yeap, code 12. I've tested everything and it all checks out. Vacuum is all within spec 6-8" and the voltage on the EGR sensor shows ~1.19v closed and ~4.25 open (8" vacuum applied).

If you resolved the issue, why not post what you did/replaced to fix it for future reference?

I'm working on a detailed egr code 12 guide ATM. I've learned that the water/condensation in the port is normal and does not contribute in any way to egr codes. Just want to clean up the forum a little by getting rid of a useless thread.
