i have found that this site is overwhelmed with less and less honda / acura information. It's turned into a forum to post BS that who ever finds on the net. or a newbie bashing forum. I really don't get it. the old timers Whinned about newbies posting BS should be banned. Now What about the Old timers posting BS? i mean a post titled "Newbie's who don't know there place are gay" dosen't seem like a topic that will produce much great honda / acura talk? i understand that the moderators have the final say in things, but that seems very one sided. since the moderators seem to start some of this trash. if not start they won't lock the forum until their humor is spent on the subject. So if some newbie is getting thrown into the fire, the topic can sustain life until ?moderator decides he is done laughing at the scene. But if some one picks on the site, or a moderator it gets locked instantly. if we are all here on the Honda-tech forum we are here to learn as a group from each others trials and success's. not to bash some one cause we dislike their car. or to bash someone cause they only have 4 posts. But yet that is the only thing i keep seeing. yea some of the talk in here is and should be opinionated. But there is a difference in voicing an opinion and bashing / flaming. We all need to find that line. Moderartors included. As a newbie seeing a moderator laugh and join in on a flame war and or even start their own,makes me feel as if that is an O.K. thing to do. It just spreads a bad example for everyone. It's like our boss's yelling at us for something and then they go and do it? dosen't work that way.

Well I stated my point and I hope this will help the forum overall. I Imagine I will get some sort of unpleasant feed back but... Well just goes to show who is and who isn't ______________________________.

Hey big guy.....might want to try some of the actual "tech" forums here on H-T. Or were you foolish enough to think you might learn something in a forum called "kills"

Try scrolling up a little. There are a few pretty nice sections up there for the technically minded.

 

This isn't a democracy. If you don't like it, then leave.

Plain and simple.

nothing unpleasant here. Just a thought:
The kill forum has never been, nor will ever be a tech forum. It has been this way for years... neither you, nor anyone will change it... forutunately, or unfortunately.

However, we have so many tech forums out there on the main page, that I'm sure it will keep you busy enough that you don't have to come in HERE and see any of the off topic bullshit that you so avidly hate.

Go play in the FI forum, tech forum, hybrid forum, competition forum... hell, even venture in the Prelude forum and see what goes on in there...

Now, run along and go see what else is out there my little friend.

Like I've said previously members is not an accurate depiction of H-T, and kills is not an accurate depiction of the tech information the H-T possesses. If you want tech go to a tech forum. Kills is where we vent, school, laugh, storytell, and flame noobz! y0!

 

I just counted 15 other forums that you can go tool around in.... we'll miss you I'm sure.

well i see that the location of a topic is vastly more important than the topic. But since we are all just a bit to full of self pride due to our vast posts and days as a member of Honda_Tech that already this conversation / topic is done for me. Gaze over the topic for your amusement and see how fast ths topic went from a statement/inquiry to getting flammed. enjoy

Oh and since you guys seem to be satisfied with the members you have, why not just lock it and not allow any newbies to join, Hey then it can be your little clubhouse and no one can ruin it for you...

I understand what you are saying, but I dont know how you can complain about "tech subjects" in the kills forum. Maybe if you were having a problem w/another forum, then you could notify a mod/admin, or even post in that section. Like said before, if you do not like it, then ignore it. But dont waste BW talking about it.

I was in fact just thinking about how the Tech forum never really sees any post ****** or any trolls and now, the first truely unrelated tread has shown up.

Side note: Grimm, if the forum bothers you just go somewhere else. Kills is kinda like the "old timers" member's corner, but the Tech section has always been a decent place to attempt to learn......if the question is asked.
