I recently asked a question on the Autocrossing forums about what motor I should swap into my 92 hatch. A couple of the responses consisted of swapping a VX Vtec engine, what exactly is that, how much does it cost and what other motors would be the best bang for the buck???

 

I'm guessing for autocrossing you would not want a heavier engine, the VX is vtec but if it is vtec you want then I'd go with the Si swap. If your hatch is a DX then you could do a mini-me swap and just put the EX or Si head on your block (along with the other parts to make it work out.)
