I dont think any of the D series rods would be considered "beefy". But if u want a cheap upgrade alot of guys use the LS rods i beleave, all u gotta do is have them machined alittle to fit......

Yeah you gotta notch the block to fit LS rods in...
I remember MISTABONE talking about VX rods being beefy.....and I've seen pics just can't find ****..haha
