no. the vtec system is more than just the solonoid and cams. its just near impossible. vtec is unique in that it has a third lobe on the camshaft that none of its copies have to my knowledge. i know since honda introduced vtec every car company has copied the idea, in one way or another. mazda = klze, toyota = vvti, nissan = ?, bmw = vanus. i dont know all the names but i know pretty much every company made their own fake vtec. if u want vtec for a non vtec motor go here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33627
