VTEC WONT KICK IN?
Hi,
I have a 2000 ek Civic with a b16a2 conversion. The car runs great but the only problem is vtec will not kick in. I drive it around for about 30 minutes until the temp gauge says above half way. Once that happens I turn the car off and on. After turning the car on again vtec will engage and all is good. What is happening? Why does it take so long for the car to recognise that it is heated up and therefore engage vtec. I'm guessing something to do with the ecu as I have to turn off and on?
Thanks
