Are B & D series Vtec solenoids interchangeable?

2000 civic ex: vtec spool valve.15810-P2R-A01
2000 civic si : vtec solenoid.36171-P08-005

you cant get the vtec solenoid seperate on the d series like the b series.. but from the looks of it. the top 3 bolts will line up... the spool valve's are different

I got a D series solenoid, and trying to see if'll work on my GSR head.

 

well if it will bolt up it should work
