VTEC solenoid HELP!

VTEC solenoid HELP!
I'm doing an LSVTEC, block and head are OBD2. will be converted back to OBD1 with the ECU/harness. going in a 95 civic.
question, my head didn't come with the solenoid, can i use an OBD1 solenoid with the OBD2 head????
need help by the end of the night, thanks!
