Vtec Pressure and ECT sensors on B18C1...

Default Vtec Pressure and ECT sensors on B18C1...

Im havin trouble tryin to figure out which on is which. Is the ECT sensor right next to the Vtec solenoid? or is that the Vtec Oil Pressure switch? also, what sensor is the one that is mounted right near the lower radiator hose?

the sensor next to the solenoid is the vtec pressure switch. The ect is located on the thermostat housing. Can you describe the sensor by the lower radiator hose?

ECT is actually on the side of the head
the vtec switch is on the side of the solenoid(green plug)

The fan switch is on the thermostat housing

Yup the ECT and ECT gauge are mounted on the distributor end of the head... The ECTSW is mounted on the thermostat housing and controls the radiator fan just as sgT said... Peace

ok, I just realized I dont have a Vtec oil pressure switch...my friend said I have a vtec solenoid from a ITR cause they dont use the pressure switch

JDM motor... NOT just cuz it's an ITR... USDM ITR ECU's still look for a VTM signal... Peace
