VTEC for newbies
I found the following article to be very helpful with explaining how VTEC works and I figured it might be helpful to some of the other newbies. http://autospeed.com/cms/article.html?&A=2772
I've been into dsm's for awhile, so a dohc turbo 4 is nothing new to me. The plan is to finance a used 95ish hatchback. (without getting into detail, it will help my shitty credit) Turbo the d16 and run it until I have the money to build a turbo'd b series of some sort. (I still have research to do on the differences) The d wont see a turbo until I can afford tunning of some sort. I'm leaning towards ectune, but I am still looking into the free software setups.
Now for the flaming....
I can't seem to find any sites comparable to dsmparts.com, but for the d or b series motor. Some help here would be much appreciated.

Glad I could help. I understood the concept of how it worked, but I really couldn't visualize how it worked mechanically until I saw the picture in that page. Defiantly something I will stress for when I decide save for the b-series build.
