Is Vtec dependant on engine operating Temperature?
I drive my car nice and easy until I reach operating temp. My Vtec is chipped to engauge at 5000rpm. If I reach this RMP before the engine is warm there is no Vtec, which brings me to my question.
Yes, VTEC will only engage if the engine coolant temperature is above a certain point.
You do know that revving the wee out of your engine when it's cold is VERY bad for it, don't you?
