A stock b16a1, b18c1, b18c5, h22, Which VTEC from the 4 kicks in the hardest? from lightest to hardest order?

Ok, I've actually read this thread now.

In their stock/non-hybrid forms I actually think the NSX motor (forgot the engine code sorry!!!) pulls the hardest in VTEC switchover.

I've ridden in about all cars with DOHC VTEC, and the NSX is insane. The S2k is pretty feirce too.

They are about the only ones that have thrown me back into the seat when VTEC switchedover. But that prolly was b/c I wasn't expecting it.

im pretty sure hearing a t4 ballbearing pushing 20psi on my inline 6 wont make me miss vtec anymore.

Well, I don't know much about V-Tecs, but a guy i know just put a b18 type R in his HB and that sucker kicks! It's rad!

Does it really matter for any particular reason which one has the roughest transition?

A louder cross-over doesn't make the car any faster.

its actually worse, horsepower-wise. it should be a very smooth transition. thats why they invented the VAFC, to lean out fuel, and make vtec transition smooth
