Default Vitara Wrist Pin Lock Install. How?

Was going to drop my pistons off at the machine shop to get the wrist pin locks installed but I thought Id ask how it done first. Dont know how many people have seen them, but can I just grind down (thin) a set of needle nose pliers, stick each prong through a hole and squeeze?

I tried queezing with my fingers and I dont see it budging nor can I see the lock bending without binding it is squeezed...

How are thet installed? Will my method work

Thanks

Go buy a set of snap-ring pliers. It'll become very obvious how they go in.
