Default VIPER ALARM Proximity Sensor question...

Is their a way I can arm my viper alarm without the proximity sensor being armed? i don't know if this makes sense... i want to be able to arm my alarm with out the proximity sensor doing anything sometimes.... is their a simple way to do this? what about arming it and not "arming" the proximity and shock sensor? thanks

all viper alarms comes with some kind of a bypass system... it should be in the manual... from wat i remembered... after arming your car, press the arm button again within 5 secs, then you'll hear your siren beep 2x, then followed by a long siren... then again within 5 secs, then you'll hear 3 beeps, folllowed by a long siren... you can do this up to 4 times i think, the 4th time will correspond 4 beeps followed by a long siren tone.... disarming the proximity is usually the 3rd time you press the arm button... i think... hope that helps..
