Default victor x intake manifold ?

I`m runnig a b20 with a b16a head (not ported),JUN stage 3 cam, a JDM DC Sports headers, 11.5/1 of compression, Hondata= 195.7whp at 7700rpm and 143.1wt at 6100rpm. Then we bolt-on the Victor X intake manifold to replace the stock one =189.7whp at 8700(my curent cut-off) and 140.5wt at 6100rpm.Is it possible that this intake is not for my set-up OR can I have better results with more cam tunnig. I dont know alot about flow theory so if you can explain me how cam tunnig could or could not change those results with the Victor X it would be very COOL. THANKS ...

that would be the general experience, and can you imagine if you only had a b16? if your cams are designed for high rpms that will be all of the diff. if you can go up past 9k with cams still doing ok

last summer we did but we lowered the compression so now it is runnig too ritch.but I was thinking that BOLT-ON the VICTOR X would work well , then do the fine tunnig.

Did you change your fuel map and added more fuel? Maybe you're running a little lean on your fuel map.

That manifold is good for turbo cars we gained 40whp but we have always lost Hp on all motor cars....

thankx for the info, but from what i have heard that manifold is best suttted for FI applications. i was hopeing that with a 2.0 displacement, it would help a N/A engine. one thing i would question, is if raising the CR will affect how the manifold works in the N/A application. my .02c

Thursday I`m going back to the dyno with my tuner(www.autolaminar.com) and I will post you the results. He thinks that with good tunnig the victor X will work find but it will move up the powerband. If you have dyno run of the victor X could you post it for me(not the one in the Turbo Magazine,I already seen it) THANKS

By the time, the runners on the Victor X are 16cm from the head to the chamber.
