so i am getting a code 17 on my p28 ecu that i am using in my DC teg. the speedo doesnt work and i dont know what the hell is wrong. i checked and the vss at the tranny is getting power when the ignition is on. what else could be the problem? is there a way to check the pulse coming from the sensor without an oscilloscope?

 

Maybe you should try a different ecu and see what happens. Maybe the ecu has gone bad.
