Default valve train

i'm thinking of upgrading my valve train. and not sure where to buy this from and what brand. don't have much money, but i can save. my motor right now is running on a p28 ecu. i just got it runing and the exhaust valves are ticking. so i was just wondering what could i get or just stick with stock?

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that you're talking about your Y8 powered EF. You can find packages from companies like Supertech or Skunk2 with all the stuff you need to upgrade it. But if it's ticking, why don't you adjust your valves first to determine if they are just out of adjustment?

If you aren't planning on upgrading you cam, its not worth the time and money to replace your valve springs or retainers, just do a valve adjustment to quiet down that ticking.
