Valve spring removal
Well for removal I like the old Oxygen sensor socket and hammer method myself. Very quick and painless. Install is a different ballgame. Get the snap on valve spring compressor and the attachment to go on the end. Not sure on the part numbers.
call your local snap on dealer for more info on it. They make valve spring compressors for like all cars and i know they make them for hondas. i have one.
i do not understand the o2 sensor socket and hammer thing
wouldnt you use a hard rubber mallet instead?
what do you do.. hammer the socket on top the retainer?
what about the valve keeper.. what happens to it?
about installation.. what do you guys use to obtain the recommended installed height? i heard this is important for performance & reliability
dial calipers?

I just put the o2 sensor socket on top of the retainer and hit it with a claw hammer. The valve keepers just pop off, just keep track of them as you do each valve.
