Default Valve Guide or Valve Seal Help???

Well I purchased a GSR motor swap for my 99 EJ8 from a member here and was told it came from a wrecked 99 GSR w/66,000mi. I ordered some goodies to install: s2 IM, header, ARP head studs, apexi n1 exhaust, oem headgasket kit/timing/WP kit, etc...

After taking off the snail IM I noticed some oil in the #3 intake port of the head and just a slight bit in #4. The picture below was the best pic I was able to take wit my phone.

-I guess there's no telling what could be the problem without it running right???
-Should I go ahead send it to be cleaned up and just slap some new valve seals on there OR order some bronze valve guides and get them all replaced????
-If I do get the guides, what's the best ones to order and where??

I was goin to see if NAPA would do my valve guides if they're bad??

Any ideas or suggestions??? I need my car ASAP!!

Is that sludge, carbon, or metal?
I personally would at least get a good shop to see if the guide is bad or not. Do u know how many miles are on the motor?
and do u have the funds to replace all the valves+ guides?

I was just going to replace the valve guides. The guy said it was 66,000mi on the motor. It's a 99. It's real thick, moreso like sludge!

I just took my b18b head off the other day and there was this kind of "sludge" in my im runners

and it turns out the valve guides and seals were bad

but get your head checked out by a shop since your going to take it off anyways

Napa machine shops are all independent guys working out of an attached building...I've actually had very good luck in the past!

Great, well I'm almost certain I'm going to have to get the guides replaced then. Should I get the SuperTech valve guides, or OEM? Or any other suggestions? Need to know ASAP.

$4.17/guide(yOparts),
$6.55/guide(OEM/discount honda parts)

I wish I had the money to do a build, but I can only afford getting the head taken care of, because I need my car back up and running.
