Valve Guide Install question
sorry if this is a dumb question.
Do you have to remove the whole valve train to replace the valve guides? Or do you just turn the head over, take out the valves, and pull out the guides?
Basically if everything has to removed, I might as well buy some sweet cams and go the whole 9 yeards.

Take the head to a pro you cant do this right w/o the right tools.1st the head has to be heated to over 200 degrees to prevent cracking the head.2nd you need a valve guide installation/removal tool.3rd even if you were able to get the guides removed and new installed they still have to be sized to the correct fit.4th you will need a new valve job afterwards, you can't just replace the guides and reassemble the head the valves wont seal.hope this explaines what you needed.
