Default Valve Clearance

i'd just did do an clearance for my valve. engine B16A with all stock internals.
i tight it with HONDA specs.......
but, when i start the engine, it still creating a sounds which is not good.....some of my friends told me that, it could be springs under vtec lobes are not tightened well.....who can tell me whereabouts of this springs?......so that i can tight it now......

If your friend meant the 'LMA's (Lost Motion Assemblys) then theyre little springs underneath the central rocker arm. You canttinghtn them though, you just have to replace heavily worn ones.

If its more like a fast clunkng then it is likely to be a rod bearing.

thanks for your reply man......is it rod bearings?......coz i heard the sounds was came out from the head itself......
how can i replace the worns of LMS?........any articles where can i get the step-by-steps of doing it?.......
