VAFC2 help!
So i know pretty much nothing about the vafc, other then what it stands for and that it controls the air which fools the computer to add more fuel. My issue is i bought a car that has one installed, the car is running rich as hell, and im pretty certain that the owner had possibly fulled with the settings on the controller. The engine is a f20b dohc vtec out of the sir-t accord. The ecu that this vafc is piggy backed into is a p13 h22 ecu. Supposibly the f20b needs a richer mix then the h22, and im possibly assuming that the original owner tryed to compensate using the vafc. I have received a chipped p28 that has a close to identical map for the f20, but when using it the car runs like total ***. Preferbly i would like to take out the piggy back, but its just a wireing nightmare. So im wondering if theirs a default setting in the vafc that you can go back to that may wipe out anything adjusted, so to make sure the ecu is running its stock map.
I would stick with the h22 base map and take your car to get the VAFC tuned on the dyno.
Or chip the p28 with crome or hondata and tune it on the dyno that way.
Either way, tune it on the dyno. At the very least get someone knowledgable to do a street tune.

Thats not so much my concern, my concern is i am unfamilliar with the vafc, and i wanna make sure that the previous owner didnt make any adjustments through it that could explain why the car seems to be running richer then normal. I just wanna get it to where its just reading the stock p13 base map. So i didnt know if theirs a way to go back to default settings.
