Default VAFC VTS mA output...

Anyone know the mA rating for the VTEC output on a VAFC... Just wanna know how much I can draw before damage occurs, hehe ... Thanks in advance, Latez

Thanks but I am running a relay so I figure I'll have a draw of ~200mA plus the VTEC solenoid, I just wanna make sure I'm not over-drawing the VAFC... Thanks

Not having an answer, here's a suggestion: Instead of worrying of about it, use a simple transistor buffer to drive the coil of the relay.

I doubt that anyone would know how much current the VAFC can sink/source.

Thanks EE_Chris, I'll have to try that... As for running a VAFC on your LSVTEC 92hatchblack you'll still have to run a KS so long as your ECU looks for it... My suggestion if you don't wanna run one would be to go with a chipped P28, etc... Thanks again, Peace
