Default vafc question

I have a 93 accord with a jdm h22 and f22 5 speed. The car runs ok as is {much better than the f22). Would an apexi vafc give me any hp gains or is it a waste of money on a stock engine.

If you're not gonna crawl onto a dyno and tune, it won't do anything for you. Even then, it's iffy that tuning it will give you significantly more power for the $200 to $300 you spend on it.

I wouldn't waste my money on the stock motor... Do some internal work to the point where you would need one then just go with a base Hondata S200 system... It adds a lot more tuneabilty and you don't have to look at the ugly little display (can you tell I don't like the VAFC's??, hehe) Just my $0.02... Latez
