Default vafc or b&m

do these cancel out each other. i mean if i get a VAFC there will be no reason to get the B&M regulator cause I can regulate the fuel with VAFC. Correct me if im wrong, thanks in advance.

get both if you want, set baseline FP with fpr and then fine tune trim w/ vafc...this way there is a happier medium between the variables in your fueling equation

These are two completely different things. The ECU dictates how much fuel gets into your engine by determining how long your fuel inhectors are open for each cycle.

You would get the B&M fuel pressure regulator modification if you are not getting enough fuel at certain rpms (usually high rpms). It doesnt do you much good unless you take it to the dyno to get it tuned with a good O2 sensor. By the way, the B&M unit only modifies your existing fuel pressure regulator so that you can adjust pressure. Since you are using the stock FPR you cannot adjust it to flow much higher than stock. But it is a good choice for mildly modified engines, i.e. i/h/e.

The VAFC is a piggy back computer that allows you to alter your fuel maps (among other things). Actually, it tricks your stock ECU by sending false signals. You would use this to help fix certain spots on your torque curve. But again, it does you no good unless you are tuning on a dyno with an O2 sensor.

These are both very different. But they do work really well together to get just the right amount of fuel to your engine.
