V-tec? What the hell is that?
I thought that v-tec only added 250 ft/lbs only if you had yellow stickers, Altezza taillights, and a HUGE TACH?
I thought the sticker/lights combo was a strickly top end horsepower mod? I was under the impression that the tack was the key to low end?
Sorry.
I stand corrected. the TACH was the top end mod. You know just because it shows 10K means the car can rev that high and thus is fast as hell.
You guys were correct. on the lights/sticker mod combo.

Ohhhh I get it... You're one of those guys who can turn on their turbo, supercharger, and nitrous all by the flick of a switch..... Cool dyno plot.. hehe

You guys are right up to a point. You need the yellow stickers, altezza tailights, a huge tach, but you guys are missing one important ingredient. The big *** metal double wing stuck on the bumper. That's where you get all that extra horsepower. Plus, it helps you slice through the wind.

VTEC is a system designed by honda to have the best of both worlds.
Excellent fuel economy at lower RPMs and Gas Guzzling Capabilities at higher RPMs to make, what some people call, Horsepower.
Technically speaking, VTEC is always on. There is no such thing as "VTEC Kicking In." But people just use that so they don't have to say "When the VTEC system pushes the pin to lock the rocker arms together and run off the larger cam lobes."
len, who thinks NASCAR has better technologies...
