well,last night i took out the v-afc out of one of my car and after i took it out,id check to see if im getting any check engine light...i ran a u loop wire on the diagnoes plug...when i did that the check engine light just stays on w/ no code thrown or flashes...so i figure i dont have any check engine light...but when i crank the car on i get a check engine light...wtf!!..so i ran the u loop wire again,but same ****...the check engine light stays on w/ no codes thrown....i know that it suppose to throw o2...and yes i reset the ecu... but nothing...any suggestion...

 

If you took out the VAFC, did you make sure to connect the MAP sensor back up?

yeap...i hooked the map back up....

 

And the car was running just prior to you removing the VAFC?

 

What is the best way to give a VAFC default settings when u first hook it up?

 

Don't people read anymore? Like the instruction manual, for instance?
