Default using factory head gaskets?

i just need some input with using factory head gaskets......taking them apart and using single layers. has anyone done this, which layers did you use, and any leaks??????

dont get spoon...too much money...buy a custom cometic **** for 85$....or i think youre supposed to use the middle layer..and take ut the little fastener things...that hold the layers together...ive heard its ok as long as youre using a new OEM one..

2 motors, 2 broke pistons. boost. both head gaskets still in tact. i will keep on using OE Head gaskets, unless i cant because of the sleeves...

the problem is that i just bought a copper headgasket for like 80 bucks......but i didnt realize that is was .043" thick......this is going to kill my compression. thanks for the advice...i think i am going to take the motor apart tonight and put a new stock gasket back in it......one layer...thanks guys
