I asked this question earlier,but i wanted to see more responces from people who have used bronze valve guides on there daily driven head.Any problemswith them?Do they wear out alot faster than the stock cast iron ones???Thanks!

 

i bought some ferrea and never had them installed because it was gonna cost a lot. i don't think they wear out faster than the stock ones because they are more resistant to heat.

 

They should wear at a slightly lesser rate. Bronze is more "slippery" when it comes to friction.

I use them in my set up and they work great. They also dissipate heat faster (so it is said) SI industries makes the ones I use.

 

Those are the ones are ordered too from SI....Are u using there valves also???
