Does anyone know how to make a home-made USB connector for a honda ecu? If so let me in on it...

Buy a Hondata S300 and install it at home.

What are you trying to use this USB port for?

that all depends on which TTL to USB converter you get. the wire colors are different.

Easiest way to go, moates.net, HULOG or HondaLog. comes with everything you'd need to be plug and play.

if you all ready have the cable, post up what color wires you have, and which cable it is. (model number and manufacturer)
