this diff is apparently out of an sir2 civic can anyone tell me if its a standard open diff or and lsd
might sound dumb but ive never seen what either looks like

when you look down the middle if is clear, most of the time it will be LSD. If it has two pins criss crossing then it is open.
I don't think anyone will be able to tell with the picture you provided.
