Default Upper rear strut bar questions....

Hopefully someone here will know this:

I have the ability to fabricate my own rear strut bar. The question is, do these bars need to have a certain amount of flex built into them or can they be pretty solid?

Thanks
K

PS - this will be going on a '00 Si for autocross

one piece almost always perform better than 3 piece, but it just a freakin' strut bar, if you looking for real improvement, invest in a set of good sway bar.
