Upper Ball Joint 6th Gen
I just did my first DIY spring install....it didnt go very well. The sportlines I put on my stock struts dont fit back in the area I took my stocks out of. To get them in I decided to separate the ball joint...in doing so I striped both upper ball joints and ruined the thread on them. I need to know if the A arm on the 6th gen has removable ball joints or if they are welded to the a arm. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You should be able to separate them. However, you might as well replace the whole control arm, since Honda apparently doesn't sell the upper ball joint by itself. Hope it helps.
EDIT: What car are we talking about? I referring to a 6th gen accord.

Might as well get a camber kit that goes in place of the upper ball joint, like one of the SPC kits. Remove the locking ring, press the old ball joint out, and press the alignment kit in.
Yes the upper control arm comes out easily. On a 5th gen Civic anyway.

Yep.

Good advice, especially if the car is lowered or if you have future plans to. In either case, it will cost you about the same to get a camber kit, as it would to buy a OEM Honda part.
