Default Upgrading fuel setup opinion and questions

Im currently running H22, 1000cc, turbo, with walbro. My tuner said that it starts leans out at 14 psi at 100% duty cycle so were running the duty cycle a little less at 12 psi 412hp. He believes there is something up with the fuel setup . I tried a new ground and relaying it to better source for power. I think the pump took a crap so I am upgrading to a sx performance inline. Im mounting the pump on my fire wall and im thinking bout running -10 to the pump and -8 to the fuel rail from the pump. I havent heard of many people running -10 to the front due to loss of pressure but the pumps are usually mounted in the rear. Do you guys think I maintain fuel pressure more consistant if i do it my way or should i just run the -8 to the pump and -8 to the rail from the pump? I plan on just running my stock fuel return since its almost a -6 anyways. Also how would i set up the fittings at the tank? The factory is the hose with a clamp style. Do i just leave the intank pump in?
