unknown lsd, what test to determine the lsd type?

I bought a jdm h22 and accompanying m2a4 (non stock lsd) tranny from hmo about 6 months ago and i'm just now getting it running. when i bought it, there was an axle end stuck in the differential on one side so they didn't know it was an lsd because you couldn't see through the differential at that point. Turns out i have an lsd or some type of limited slip/posi traction differential that was installed at some point in japan. I determined this by the noise it makes, the fact that you can see through to the other side and when in gear with the front end lifted off the ground, the 2 wheels spin the same direction when you spin one of them.
question 1. what type of limited slip differentials are available for the prelude tranny?
question 2. how can i tell what type of differential i have?
question 3. is it safe to use gm antishock syncromesh with any type of lsd? (the reason i ask is because 3rd gear grinds slightly and i think i can stem the problem by running antishock syncromesh.)
thanks in advance

here's a little more info: the differential chatters when you turn one way or the other and apply torque. I don't know if it does it all the time or only when cold, i'm worried about taking a few fast corners because i just have motor oil in the tranny now. i think i'm going to try some antishock synchromesh and see if it still chatters when driven aggressively after it's been warmed up. any thoughts?

well i think the differential is some clutch type, it works like a charm without chatter as long as you drive it aggressively through corners. I'm gonna go pick up some 80-90 oil and some lsd additive to see if it quiets down a bit. It's definately a cool differential but i won't be able to deal with it in a daily driver unless it calms down some. oh well, it was free. and now i'm typing to myself like i've been doing all day in this post. is anybody even reading this? karate explosion!
