Default universal mufflers

does a universal muffler neccessarily mean that there would be no wielding involved at all? and that it can just fit any car PERFECTLY?? sorry i'm n00b...

well you will have to make sure that the inlet opeinig is the same as the pipe on your car.... and you will have to have hangers made for the universal muffler... which are usually welded on..... unless you come up with some other way.... i have seen them clamped on... but it is best to weld it

I would put the extra effort in to get it welded. A muffler is just one of those things that you'd want to bop yourself in the head for if it fell off while driving on the highway. But hey, if you don't want to weld, why not just use duct tape?

is having to wield it just for universal mufflers? u won't have to do that if u buy one thats made just for your car year/model right?

well if you buy one for your car... it will usually bolt up the the stock piping so you don't have to weld it.... but some people have done it before
