Default Unbalanced Wheels??

What happens if you roll around on unbalanced wheels?

I know it makes that noise when you come to a stop, but does it affect anything?

You will get a nasty vibration at certain speeds. It will be worse at certain speeds as the vibration hits its resonance frequency. It's also not good for your suspension as the vibration will accelerate wear on your suspension components. You should just take your wheels in to get balanced since it's pretty cheap. The cheapest place I've found is Costco which will do it for $4 a wheel if you bring them just the wheels. You can call around to different shops to find the best price in your area though.
