Default Re: which type of shortshifter is more effective? (FrostWhiteDC4)

effective for what? shortening the throw or shifting? I looks like the top one has a bit shorter throw and better ergonomics. I have installed several of the bottom one in CRXs civics and tegs. I like how B&M uses the factory pivot on both designs, honda knows best I guess.
The problem with the straight one is that it is pretty short (height not throw) and moves the **** too far forward for my taste. It looks like the car is in 3rd when it's in neutral.
Assuming the integra style one has a shorter throw I would say the longer throw is better for shifting and the curved stick has better ergonomics. Is the top one the $100 one? I sell the bottom one for $55 usually. peace
