I'm installing a skunk2 intake man on my gsr. I was told to use a type r cable but thier is no acura dealership around here. Can someone get my a good part number so I can order online.

 

Why do they say to use a type r cable??
My buddy is using his ole D16 throttle cable on his skunk2 mani'ed gsr.

 

if you put type R throttle body on it would be wise to get that! cable doesn't line up with the bracket!

 

itr throttle cable: 17910-SK7-AO3
itr throttle cable bracket: 16411-P73-000

if youre going to use the itr cable & bracket, then u also need a throttle cable pulley from any other honda t.b. except 94-01 gsr or 96-00 civic DX.

or u can get an itr or aftermarket t.b.

u dont have to use the itr cable. the gsr will work fine but it gets in the way of the stock strut tower bar. so youll have to do without it.
