Type R outer valve springs

Default Type R outer valve springs

Why do people use a combination of these outer springs with other aftermarket inner springs?Is this a good idea?benefits?Help any one.I am bored and curious

I'd still search around about this subject. I am not a fan of oem ITR outers and stiff aftermarket inners. You may run into problems.....sometime the cheaper way is not the best thought out way. Just something to consider.

portflow inner springs and ITR outer springs can rev to 10,000 rpm.

ITR inners and ITR outers will only handle 9000 rpm.

some cams require more and some less, but thats the general rule.... its just a good thing that the portflow/ITR setup is cheaper too!

Is this true then for a bigger cam.. like Toda C's? I've heard it is not good to rev up that high with Portflow inners on Toda C's???

i sell complete valve springs with inner and outer for both I and E sides for cheaper than most people want for ITR outers
