Type R lsd in a Si tranny?

will the lsd fit in my 99 si tranny and if so is there anything i need to know to do the install. I have both the tranny and the lsd in hand but want to ask before tearing the tranny apart.

To the lsd or the ring gear? I found out last night the the ring gear will not fit over the lsd.
