type-r LSD into B16A2 -> problem
i got a slightly used EK9 LSD directly from japan and i intended to put it into my B16A2 (1996 EK4) tranny...
now the problem is that the LSD didn't come with a ring gear... and the ring gear i had on my stock differential has a smaller inner diameter than the outer diameter of the new LSD, so it doesn't slide on the new LSD...
what should i do now? order a type-r ring gear will it fit in the B16 tranny? should i try to make the hole on the ring gear bigger? any ideas?

i would tell you to try a gsr ring gear, or a itr ring gear. the gsr ring gear, will be easier for you to find! btw the itr & gsr ring gears, share the same size/bolt pattern! good luck!

You can use gsr or itr ring gear. best bet is to post a wtb add in the classifieds or buy a new one from honda.</TD></TR></TABLE>
thankx for clarifying that, but i would tell you to search for gsr ring gear. from the dealer, it will cost you $$$$
