Default Type-R Headlight "look"

I just recall seeing a lot of posts on DIY type-r headlights... Some people using gunmetal and some using black... I'm just curious if anyone's ever used the Duplicolor Shadow on it.

We just got it in at my work, but I'm sure it's not a brand new product.

I just thought that the color is a chrome black and that this is exactly that. How it looks in person, I'm unsure.

Don't see that product on the Duplicolor site, so it might be new.

How is this different than their existing Metalcast Smoke though?

Honestly, I have no idea. I've never seen the metalcast smoke. (or heard of it) Duplicolor classifies this as "Chrome Black-Out Coating"
