how much better is a type r muffler than gsr, will they bolt up?

I've made the jump to the ITR muffler, only because it was given to me, however it does sound nice when you are outside the car. It sounds like a Type R from behind. Its a good mod if you are putting your tuning money elsewhere, you may need more relief back there if you do cams or what not. I saw a '00 DC2R on a website not too long ago with over 210whp/140tq with an ITR exhaust, Stock Intake and SMSP custom header/Jun cams tuned with hondata. I wonder how much more he would have seen with something non-oem. make one wonder. When you look at the dyno and see the power curve fall off after 8K... remember it ends up at 9.25K with 185hp/105tq to the wheels

I have a question I am going to trade my es oval exhaust with someone local and will his 2000 itr exhaust fit my 99 gsr? Will it also work the other way around. my exhaust on a 00' and 01'. We are trading just the axle back
