Default Type R B18C help

Just finished the engine mods. Have worked the head, spoon gear installed.

Just a question, the car hits VTEC at 5750 rpm, and has a second kick at 7000rpm range.
Any suggestions. Oh I'm runnin spoon cams, gears, valves, springs, throttle, gasket, spark plug leads, grounding, power FC, mugen 4>1, 2.5 inch system.

sorry questions on why there might be a second kick at 7000 rpm. Shouldn't it be a smooth power curve after VTEC engages not a second kick?
